In our June newsletter, we informed you about the introduction of the Dutch truck toll. As of 1 July 2026, the scheme has officially entered into force.
The truck toll applies to vehicles weighing more than 3,500 kg and is calculated based on the number of kilometres driven, the vehicle's weight, and its emissions class. As a result, road transport costs within the Netherlands have increased.
On our invoices, these charges will appear under the description "Toll." This surcharge applies to transports for which the truck toll is charged.
